By asking about a typical day, you’ll not only find out about your potential partner’s work, which tends to come up eventually, you’ll also find out a little about what makes them tick and if the two of you are compatible.
Who are the most important people in your life? More often than not this question will reveal not just your date’s family history, it’ll reveal the kind of people they choose for friends, which will say a lot about their personality. As an added bonus, finding out about the types of relationships they maintain will help assess their ability to form and keep important relationships.
What are you passionate about? You know what they do, where they come from and who they value in their lives, but what really matters to them? Discovering someone’s passions goes a long way in determining compatibility and seeing if your long term goals align.
